Urban Ember

        Hello!

My name’s Michelle and I am the creator of Urban Ember Candle Co. 

 

        & here is my story..

 

It all started one Winterpeg day, in a small two bedroom apartment in the heart of Wolseley. Through much trial and error and a very patient roommate, Urban Ember Candle Company was created. 

A candle burning obsession developed into a curiosity to know more. I became fascinated with exploring new fun and unique scents while keeping my main focus on providing an eco friendly and vegan product at an affordable price. 

 

All candles are hand poured in small batches so I can ensure each and every one sold is imperfectly perfect. 

 

 Coconut Wax - Premium, high quality wax that is produced from coconuts making it an all natural and sustainable option. Coconut wax is also well known for it’s clean burning, this means less soot build up on the glass & little to no odd wax formations. Another key feature is the longer burn times, letting you love your candles more and for longer!

 

Wood Wick - Naturally processed and sourced from mills that are certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council). Wood wicks provide a gentle crackling noise that aid in creating a peaceful ambience while burning your candle. Remember to always trim your wick of the black, burnt wood before relighting to reduce candle smoke and soot build up on the glass.
